About Huron County Criminal History

Huron County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff’s Records Office, the courts in Bad Axe, Michigan State Police, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. This private reference site organizes the official portals, request routes, addresses, and telephone numbers so readers can identify the public office that actually maintains the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan makes several kinds of justice records public, but it does not place them in one Huron County database. The Sheriff’s Records Office holds Sheriff-created reports and releasable booking material. The 73B District Court and 52nd Circuit Court maintain the case record, while Michigan State Police operates ICHAT and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. MDOC maintains OTIS for its covered prison and supervision population. We bring the official search routes, request steps, fees, limits, and contacts into a clear local framework.

An official record must come from its custodian, such as a Huron County court, the Sheriff’s Records Office, or Michigan State Police. We provide directions to those sources, not the documents themselves.
